The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Brothers Grimm is dedicated to the brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their contribution to German and European folklore, including some of the most famous fairy tales such as "Snow White", "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty".
The overall silhouette of the writing instrument is shaped like an old walking stick, and its black color reflects the darkness of the woods that usually serve as the stage for the folklore of the Brothers Grimm. In addition, the wave-like pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel's hair and also resembles roots, as the Brothers Grimm considered their linguistic work to be "research on roots".
The cap is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in precious resin. Reminiscent of a knobby piece of wood, the platinum-coated clip reveals the silhouette of the Brothers Grimm when rotated.
As a tribute to the magic of storytelling, the handmade Au 750 solid gold nib with rhodium coating is illustrated with flames, as these were often the backdrop around which folkloric tales were passed down.
